They did not have any children even after many years of marriage. In the end, Sudha persuaded her husband and got him married to his sister Ghushma. Ghushma was also a true and exclusive devotee of Lord Shiva. Shortly after marriage, Ghushma received a son by the grace of Lord Shiva.

After getting a son, Ghushma started to be very happy, his happiness was given to his elder sister. Sudha could not bear the brunt and one-day Sudeha killed Ghoshma’s sleeping son and threw the child’s body in a nearby pond. In the morning, there was a lot of furor in the house, but despite being distraught, Ghushma did not give up Shiva’s devotion and like daily she went to the same pond, made a hundred Shivalinga and worshiped them with complete ritual, and then immersed them.

Lord Shiva was very pleased with this Shiva devotion of Ghushma. As soon as Ghushma turned towards the house after worshiping, his son was found alive. She was stunned to see this Shiva-Leela because Shiva had appeared before her.

Now when he went to kill Sudeha with the trident, Ghushma begged Shivaji to fold his hands and ask for forgiveness of his sister Sudeha’s crime. Seeing this generosity of Ghushma, Lord Shiva forgave her. Ghushma again pleaded with Lord Shankar that if he is happy with his devotion then reside there.
