The secret kitchen here is known as Potu. In this kitchen, 3 lakh laddus are made for daily offerings. 300 years old use the traditional method to make these laddus.

The special thing is that these laddus are made only from mawa made from Pungnur cow’s milk. This has been going on for years. There are a total of 130 Pungnoor cows on the Palamner farm in Chittoor Andhra Pradesh. 

From here milk is sent daily to Tirupati temple. At the same time, the prasad in the temple is prepared three times a day. Apart from Laddu, the rest of the Prasad is given free of cost. Prasad is made with rice at all three times.

The idol appeared here

It is believed that no one made a black divine statue of Lord Venkateswara installed in the temple here, but it was revealed from the ground itself. Being self-manifested, it has a lot of recognition. 

It is believed that the sound of the waves of the sea is heard from this statue present in the temple. Also, the people of the Venkatanchal mountain are considered to be the image of God and hence they are not worn with shoes.
